Michele Frye

Michele Frye is the Founder + Creative Director of Design Du Jour, a Vermont based graphic design studio offering design + marketing services nationwide—to elevate your brand.

As a child, Michele exhibited natural artistic talent + an internal passion to create. Fueled by her love for all things art + design, she spent blissful hours sketching, painting + ‘treasure hunting’—scouring alleyways, beaches, street fairs + art festivals for inspiration + hidden gems.

With an early interest in lettering + typography, Michele vividly recalls being reprimanded by her 5th grade teacher for creating an entire alphabet of ‘script’ (cursive) letters + teaching them to her class.

During her junior + high school years Michele studied drawing under the direction of award-winning Artist Philip Sugden, (then) President + Gallery Chair of the Findlay Art League.

After graduating from Findlay High School, Michele continued her art education at Ashland University + The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, achieving a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Commercial Design.

Moving to Vermont in 2000, Michele spent 7 years as Senior Graphic Designer for Vermont Vows + WellWed Magazines—which prepared her to venture on + pursue her passion with the creation of Design Du Jour.
